propane torch.  Heat the glue stick and twirl the tapered end to get a smooth coat  :) .  Don't have to wait on a glue pot that way!

I get these small aluminum pans at work, probably about 2" in diameter. I put my glue stick in that and heat it on the kitchen stove. When I'm done, I just let it cool and put the whole pan in my tackle box, ready to use next time.

If I need to re-heat to align a broadhead, I use an alcohol burner.

I use crazy glue with very good results and when I want to remove a head I just heat it with a lighter and take it off with pliers while its still hot.

Any body use regular hot melt? And what is denatured alcohol?

fyrfyter43

You can use regular hot melt, but the white sticks aren't very strong. The amber ones are better.

Denatured alcohol is available at hardware stores (and probably even wally world) by the painting supplies and solvents.
