Pat you are a pig kill'n machine        congrats. I have been shooting upper 40# bows for the last couple of years with 520 grain arrows on whitetails and have had all pass throughs. I don't see any reason to use anything heavier.

Congratulations Pat.
I like the comparison of the full length arrow with the one in the hog.

Congrats Pat. Excellent penetration picture. that was steep quartering and for anyone with doubts on what would have happened on an even bigger pig broadside your doubts should be gone now.. RC

Way to go Mr Pat... You're making me want to make a round tomorrow.  :archer:

Nicely done

And another fine example of the performance of the STOS.  I've not used them (yet) but given your report and some others it could come about.

You realize that was very close to a "texas heart shot".  ;)

Great job, Pat.  Like usual.

That is an impressive shot.  Thanks for the 2nd, reference arrow, it tells a lot of the story and is educational.

Congrats again.  I agree with the others on finding the second arrow an excellent visual demonstration of the amount of penetration.
The season gave him perfect mornings, hunter's moons and fields of freedom found only by walking them with a predator's stride.
