We had a great hunt. 6 hogs out 5 bow hunters. I got my first pig finally. I shot her at 20yrds. Took me over 2hrs to recover her. She ran into most thickest cover she could find. I had to back track 2 times to find blood trail. After spotting her three different times she laid down and died. I waited for 1 hr. at 30yrds. Then slowly I stalked up on her to see if she was still breathing. But the high light was hunting with my son and being with him when he shot his first pig with a longbow. We had good weather the first three days and the 4th was freezing rain and wind. We had a lot fun and laughs around camp. We are already planning next yr.
