Looking at trying single bevel broadheads this hunting season., mostly deer and plan on going on a hog hunt this year. I'm looking at several different heads but not sure what to choose, any opinions would be greatly appreciated as I have no experience with these

I'm shooting Grizzly Kodiak 200's. I also have a few of the 235's but need to tune for them.  I like the length, width and weight of the Kodiaks and they have performed very well on game for me.

TuffHead 300, TuffHead 225 or MeatHead 190

Grizzly broadheads. Built like a tank and sharpen up real easy for me. No reason to look any further.

Abowyer heads for me.

Check out rms gear cutthroat. I will be trying these whenever they are back in stock.

If you are not skilled as a sharpener, and do not care to learn use tools jigs, abowyer or tuffhead, ready out of the package.  

The broadhead being sharp is an essential ingredient, if not the most important aspect of taking game effectively.  As with any broadhead it should be "scary-sharp" to the touch.  I have shot heads both ways from serrated to razor sharp.  Go for sharp.

Thanks for the tips everyone! I've always users Magnus, haven't had the opportunity to get anything but a coyote yet but after seeing the results on deer wanted to try a bevel. I've never sharpened a bevel but would like to learn. Think I'm leaning towards the grizzlys and heavy hunter arrows.

I love the Grizzlys as well but when they became hard to find I shot Tuskers and they impressed me a lot!

I also killed my first trad buck with one so that may sway my opinion.

Tuskers are made from very very tough steel. I just wish the center section was welded a little stronger.

Try some Outback Broadheads....

This is a question where you'll get as many answers ask responses. Truth is, there are a lot of very good Single Bevel heads on the market. There is no one best for everybody.
What I like, you may not, same with Bows, Arrows ect.....
This is a very personal sport.
 I would suggest you try a small sampling of several heads listed here and decide for yourself. Some come hunt ready,
Maybe what your looking for, some require putting a final edge but are half the price.
 Gotta love this site though, you will definitely get some opinions.
