Thunderhorn or Great Northern quiver?

What do you guys prefer? Who has owned both? Looking at the strap on models. Thanks

I like the generous space with the Thunderhorn hood, but the Great Northern strap system is more solid, in my opinion.

I use a GN limb mount on my recurves. Love it. Used the strap on for years and its great too.

I like both and own both. The GN has the advantage with me due to the kickback option that gets your arrows in line with the limbs.

I have a great northern bolt on, strap on and a Thunderhorn lynx. All are great bow quivers. Light weight and solid. Money well spent no matter which one you pick.

I prefer the TH quiver, easier arrow removal and the strap on is pretty solid. Gets a bit heavy if you have the six arrow model and a bow with a heavy riser. I have had both bolt on and strap on and they are quieter than GN IMO ...

The only feature I like about the GN is the weight, I really do not like the material they use in the hood that your broadheads go into, I much prefer just foam. I have had several models of the GN.

I went with the Thunderhorn Lynx model. Its "kicked back" to help w/alignment, made right here in Montana plus it looks a lot better in my opinion.

I had a GN strap on model that was nice as well, just not aesthetically pleasing

I've had several of both. Would not own another Great Northern as long as Thunderhorn is around. Much prefer the Lynx to everything I've seen of GN.

I am a big fan of GN. Most solid mount system I have used. And The small gripper works great on super skinny shafts

I have had both and both are good quivers,but still have my Thunderhorn.To me it feels like it has a better balance on the bow.

My only complaint with the great northern is getting arrows with broadheads out of the back slots can put razor sharp broadheads a little too close to the string for comfort. I usually only keep judos and blunts back there for that reason.

I've had both, give me an EFA with a totem ALL day long in MY experience. Everything for me is better. ( Lightest 5-6 arrow quiver I ever felt)

Neither, the Kanati gets my vote. Best strap on I have found.

I recently had a Bolero quiver and matching arm guard made by Thunderhorn, They are beautiful!

The nice,thing about GN is you have a few options. GN offers different size grippers so if you used micro diameter like axis or full metal jacket, or if you shoot fat woodies they have a gripper for that they also offer a offset of set back models like the extreme which for me I would like it puts the nock end of your shafts back toward you. Some of the stands I hunt out of my arrows in my big jim quiver hang out in front of my lower limb causing some clearance issues in certain stands.

With the thunder horn they only have one size gripper they offer snubbers to hold smaller shafts which are basically rubber tubing cut to 3/16 to put over you gripper to smaller the slot. But thunder horn does make a very nice,looking quiver.

I have had both. I like the TH on my recurve, GN strap on my one piece longbow, Eagles Flight on my Shrew, it goes on and on.

But one you might consider is a Big Jims. I like that on my Liberty long bow. If I were to get rid of all except one, it might be Big Jims that I kept. I really like the strap system, much easier to put on and take off.

GN for me. When I used to use a bow quiver I used either the Quick Detach or the strap on, depending on which bow I was using. I now use the Sidekick, and like it best of all!

I have had both. The GN was a good solid quiver. The 2 back arrows are a little tough to get out quickly but not a big deal. That being said I prefer my Thunderhorn small fry. I have changed the arrow gripper and carry 5 arrows in it and love it.
