I just finished building a new arrow spinner/ broadhead aligner. I looked at several versions before I built one and liked the looks of the Dixon one the best. They quit making them but to me it looked like the best design. I liked the idea of an adjustable magnet so you could move the contact point based on different size diameter arrows.
I plan on using it to align broadheads as I use glue in inserts and sometimes they are off center after I glue them in. I also plan on using it to align outserts. I shoot super skinny shafts and they all use an outsert. I just bought some Aeroserts from firenock and they recommend a spinner to check if they are centered in the gluing process. BTW, these new outserts look very well made and consistent. Not cheap but well made.
For a simple piece of equipment, it was a bit of a pain to build. Trying to get all the bearings the same height and straight was a bit of work. What i thought was going to take an hour turned into about 3.
I have about $15 bucks in it but I have enough material left over to build another. Although I don't plan on it! lol

Looks pretty good, Steve.  Better than mine with crossed nails.

The season gave him perfect mornings, hunter's moons and fields of freedom found only by walking them with a predator's stride.

Robert, I didn't really have any plans. I had a picture of the Dixon off my phone and kinda winged it. I bought 1"  aluminum angle and the end where the magnet goes is simply a piece of galvanized. Plate I had for securing wood pieces together. The bearings I bought from **** . They were 10 for 6.60 shipped.

Tge piece of oak was a piece of door casing. It is 21" I cut the angle 4" long  and rounded the edges. And mounted The bearings on it with #8 metric bolts that were the same ID
I mounted the angle 4 1/2" in from each end and 12" apart..
Tge galvanized  was rounded and secured in the end of the oak
