Those pictures are amazing. I don't know how much hunting I'd get done with all of that beautiful scenery. I'd be too busy drinking it all in.

Awesome Ryan! How's that Buffalo treating you? For some reason, I've always wanted one...

Big Lefty

Great pictures!  I bet everyone of those animals was well earned!  Thanks for sharing.

Nice rams........must be neat to see stuff like that when hunting.
In the beginner's mind there are many possibilities. In the expert's there are few...So the most difficult thing is always to keep your beginner's mind...This is also the real secret of the arts: always be a beginner.  Shunryu Suzuki

Thank you Big Lefty. Spot and stalking these critters is sure fun!

Ron, that was during Axis deer season and yes it's always awesome to see different types of game. All free range too.

Aloha!

Thank you Charlie!

It was a great trip with a few close encounters, but unfortunately I didn't return with any Axis deer meat.

Ryan Sanpei

Charlie, here are a few images along with my "excuses".    :D  These accounted for less than half of my stalks while on that trip.

I crawled up to this herd, but unfortunately ran out of shooting light by the time I was within shooting distance.

Stalked this guy in some thick bush. No shooting lane and he eventually walked off

Last morning, I had the deer under 20. They were right on the other side of the fallen branch. Once I finally found a lane and got in position, the wind switched on me.
