How do you guys like them? I picked up a couple (because if their larger weight) and they seem great so far.

For those of you who use them, how do you carry them?

Seems like they would pull others out in a back quiver and be a pain in a safari style back quiver too. Is a bow quiver or hip quiver (like the kind mounted on bows) the only good option for these guys or what?

IMOP a bow quiver is your best bet with the nock end in the foam.

You are correct in that they don't do well in back quivers. I have used them in a Safari Tuff, which is OK, but still not great. I ended up clipping the spring arms back to similar length as a regular judo. Hard to beat the original.

I modified my bow quiver by putting an arrow clip on the outside of the leather hood, so that the Judo (or Condor) stays out of the hood, but that is only good for one or two arrows...I just load up the quiver with Judos when I am hunting small game only, and keep checking that they don't slip around as I stomp the brush...

Like centaur, we clipped the wire back some.  The wires being longer there is more leverage on them and the wires break more easily. Surprising they seem to penetrate small game better, don't know why.

Thanks guys. I dont run a bow quiver and really dont want to. Looks like I might think about picking up a hip quiver for small game. Good tip on cutting them down.

On a side note, do you guys prefer a judo/condor vs a hexblunt style head?

I am really happy with my hexblunts and they dont seem to have a problem in any of my quivers. Although, I do love the idea of the 2" span on those condors.

They are better than snaros...I do agree that the originals are the best.

Do you guys just not like how they bend easier or do you think they dont hit as hard?

Snowplow, I have taken some small game with the regular judo and the Kondor because I happened to have them on the bow when I saw the small game but I think they are a poor choice except for maybe quail or dove.  For other small game there are a lot of better points.  For roving/stomp shooting the judo can't be beat but the Kondor wires tend to break easier.

I bought a couple of the Condors several years ago, and didn't tell my wife.  On our next roving adventure, where she normally outshot me, I was wearing out the weeds, vines, and wildfowers, much to her surprise.  When she finally saw my arrowhead, what she said to me stripped the fletches off 3 of my arrows.  I haven't recovered yet.

They have their place for birds.  They have too much " cutting"  surface for rabbits out here.  The grab sage enroute to targets.

The old quickie quiver would work fine for them  (if no broadheads are along).
