just a reminder for any of you wanting to hunt Wyoming this fall for elk, ya got to apply this weekend.  don't forget!  if you do, it might be YOUR elk I shoot...

how IS the elk hunting?  I've heard the area we hunted  isn't completely wiped out but the wolves have done a pretty substantial job at reducing the elk population.

02 was one heckuva year!  hard to believe its been 12 years now.  25 days in elk camp, 16 days in a sheep camp, and screwing off in between landing a moose as well.   I passed on small elk, being I had enough meat with a ram and the moose...but the experience is one I wont soon forget!  Wyoming is a beautiful place!  

Oh and the fly fishing aint half bad either LOL!

I put in for my tag last night! Had to put in for a rifle tag so I can hunt with my brother (He lives in Sheridan) but I will be toting a new takedown by then! I'll shoot em close and then he can have at whatever's left!  

Man I'm one short of max points but we have number 3 child on the way Sept 10

Myself, brother and father bought the special permits earlyer this month soooooooo excited for our first out of state hunt!!!!

Did mine online over a week ago. Really looking forward to this fall, going to hunt (if I draw) with my old Elk hunting pardner from Colorado who moved to WY about 10 years ago.

Hope to draw this year...not great odds. Looks like it will take next for a tag. But you've got to try.
