Okay i have gotten my arrows tuned with 145 grain field point with 16 percent foc..i don,t have alot of broadhead choices in 145 grain, so i could get kustom kings trail maker or go with vpa 150 grain... how much difference would 5 grains make in arrow flight if tuned with 145 grains....

It makes no difference,and if it just really bothered you,you could put a five grain brass washer on there. There are a ton of good 150 grainers out there.

So i could shoot 150 grain with no problem, although i tuned out with a 145 grain...

Yes.  Get a really good two blade 150 grain head.  You are good to go.

Yeah I don't know why,but that seems to be one of the only field points that doesn't match up with the popular broadheads out there. I weighed some of my broadheads and field points,there can easily be a five grain difference in some of them.

Have any of you shot the vpa 150 grain 3 blade... what were your thoughts on it

Yes I have some. The regular VPA's in 150 are pretty short and stubby compared to the Woodsman and the Kustom King,but they fly great. I have some of the 150 grain VPA and the Kustom King 145. I'll try to get some pictures up of them side by side. They both shoot great.

The glue on woodsman weights about 150 with the insert in .

Here's a picture of the VPA and the Kustom King side by side. The Kustom King is also made by VPA.

Or a 150g Magnus Stinger 2 or 4 blade.

How heavy a bow were you shooting, how was penetration with that head it being kinda stubby

I've killed a total of 4 deer with the heads and all 4 shots were passthrough. I'm shooting anywhere from 56-58lbs with my bows my arrows are beman centershot .400 spine 30.5" with 50 grain insert. The last doe I shot was in both shoulder blades it punched through the other side and she broke the arrow


Blood trails are great very easy to sharpen also

Wow good shooting buddy, i am not shooting but 50# pound 27 inch carbon express haritage so i wonder if it will work for me...

You could always use the 2 blade VPA heads

If 5 grains makes any difference, your arrows tuning is very marginal.

Either broadhead out of a well tuned bow will work fine.  I shoot the 150gr VPAs and love them.

You will probably take 5 grains off when you sharpen it
