Thanks again for the warm welcome, look forward to being a part of a forum where fellow bow hunters share a deep love and respect for the sport and show respect for fellow bow hunters.
I turn 71 years young in little over a month and have a burning desire to return to my roots, and that means hunting with a recurve. My 38 year old son, to whom I passed on this addiction to bowhunting, thinks I am nuts. He has never hunted trad, but I have a feeling that will change once I get set up and get him to try it. The nut never falls far from the tree, right? I am not a prolific poster, but I will be around and look forward to getting to know you guys.Happy hunting.

Please, keep us posted...am curious to learn if your son will make the transition to traditional gear...good luck and enjoy.

Welcome aboard from your old home state. Lots of great information here so don't be afraid to ask.  Even as a 46 year veteran of traditional archery I learn new stuff every week here.
