My Samick just came in. Wow, that was quick, I just ordered it yesterday and with no overnight shipping. My next step is already in play, Im getting Big Jim to get me an upgraded string. Fast Flight. Then he is going to get me some arrows.

thanks, I know there will be lots of frustration, but it will be well earned it when at all comes together for me. When I was shooting those bows the other day, I felt like I did when I was 12 with that old used Bear recurve. I have not felt like that shooting my compound in many years. Im not bashing the compound, Im still a wheels guy for now, but there is something very unique about trad bows.

If you find frustration you're trying to hard.
Relax, keep it simple, and have fun, thats what is great about traditional archery.

I shot my compound exactly one time after I got my longbow. .... haven't touched it since! AND I don't miss it! You will become so engrossed with watching that feathered arrow arch into your target that it will be all you want to do!
