I ordered it Sat and received it yesterday w/ free shipping. Tried it this morning and once you figure out the length for the pole it's very easy setup. Very comfortable and rotating doesn't make any noise. I had 4 does all around me and was great to slowly move for a good shot. My old tripod wouldn't have worked and no were as comfortable.

Overall great seat and I recommend to everyone. Would have been better if I didn't miss that doe. I'm hoping this and my ghillie suite will be a great combo.  Also great here in TX where trees are all weird shapes and never level

Plant a fruit or nut tree today, and have good hunting tomorrow.

Jayb,  the hammock and a ghillie make a great pair.  You will see (sounds like you already have,

So does everyone use the pole low or high?  I'm thinking low to keep my profile as small as possible. Hope I get my Ghillue suit for Christmas if not will order one right after

Two thumbs up from me too!
It really is the most comfortable hunting seat I've ever used.

I like mine as well but have found it pretty difficult to get it set just right if you are facing up a steep hill.

I agree with the OP, I made a two piece leg to make set up faster and quieter.

Can you explain further? I've never seen a Hammock seat beffore and the video I've seen on the website doesn't go intto how you carry it or how you set it up.

You roll the seat part around the post and stuff it in a small canvas drawstring bag, very compact.

It weights 24 ounces and folds up the size of a small umbrella you can put it in your pocket.Feels like seating in a lawn chair.

Used one all season.   Absolutely love this thing.  Whisper quiet, light and super flexible set up.  Great product.  Most comfortable thing I've ever had in the woods.

The fabric on mine is kind of noisy. I wonder if it will get quieter after a break in period. It is really comfortable.

My only complaint is that you have to have a tree to use it.  Some of the areas I hunt, have no trees, only bushes, so I have to use a free standing seat.

I really like mine. I use mine with the pole fully extended. I really like the weight of it and strap it to my day pack. I took it apart and washed it 3 times in no scent wash and it's a lot quieter.
I use a leafy ASAT suit with it.

I sewed a nylon belt to my pouch with a quick release buckle so I can carry it at the small of my back. You hardly even know it's there. Once you carry it in this fashion, you'll wonder why you didn't do it sooner.

The seat is light weight and comfortable, but I myself find that I can only take a shot with my bow straight on and to my left. I am unable to pivot to the right as some have described.

It seems I always have to extend the metal leg to the longest position in order to sit correctly. I've never been able to use it with the shorter settings.

When it rains, the top part of the seat where it's strapped to the tree wicks the moisture directly to my neck.

Personally, I think this seat is better suited to gun hunting, but it will work with archery tackle too.

Good point about shoots straight or to the left (RH) but any seat would do that. I like the idea of the belt!
