Woke up this morning to -12 degrees and windy.  What impresses me about hunting in MO is you can utilize the whole season.  You can productively hunt the late season.  Here in MN 95% of the bowhunting is done by the middle of November.  I want to move to Kenny's!

Only 9* here Chad!!  Thinkin about layin out this afternoon for a tan....  

Tell Jacob he left a sack of donuts for me! He was sure he wasn't leaving anything this time!!

Just kiddin him..  

And we had to drive all the way to the next town to get those doughnuts for him.  Stinker.

He didn't really leave em, but tell him he did for me! LOL

That is some very beautiful country to bowhunt in.  Thanks for posting the story and pictures, really enjoyed them.

I know the owner has rubber boots in the front room, but not sure what....

The new guys on tree farm didn't get a buck! So there will be more this time I'm hopin!

Matt, who came with Chad saw 3 the last nite out, and one was a dandy this year sounds like!

Chad, that tree is very cool and the spot it is located in is great as well. I had a great encounter in that area with 3 different bucks and several turkey's before I found that tree. If I had found that tree first the results may have been different. Anyway I do have some pics of that tree and a giant scrape nearby if I could only get photobucket to work. I agree with you as well it is a great hunt, an awesome area and the host ain't so bad either.

I kinda like the late season hunts...the weather can be bad anytime, but the cut crops seem to draw the deer and turkeys?  The lack of gun hunting pressure probably helps too?

Really liking my Osprey...now I need a River Runner!
