Everyone I've talked to who's used the Bow Jax Slimjax on recurve limbs says they do better well up in the belly of the limb as opposed to where people installed LimbSavers at the fades.  The manufacturer's instructions alludes to this but puts it in wheelie terms.  I don't doubt it, as they're marketed as more of a vibration dampener than a pure silencer.  How far up the limb do you run them?

I just replaced my BOW Jax with Limb Savers .I put them both in the same place on the belly at the end of the wedges,within the end of the wedge .the limb savers  work a lot better than jax, for vibration and noise. I used the big ones with color rings. used them on my covert hunter.

My understanding is the farther out the limb you put them, the more effective they are, but the farther out you put them the more they slow the limbs down. I put mine right at the end of the fades. Didn't try them in a different spot but they quietened the bow there and didn't noticeably slow it down.

After alot of experimentation I have found that on traditional bows putting limbsavers roughly 3 inches above the fadeouts is the best.I have never used Bow Jax.I would assume its the same concept
