Has anyone tried this chair?  The price is great, but is it reasonably comfortable, sturdy, and especially quiet?

I have one it is very comfortable.  I can easily sit for 4 hrs with minimal movement. .  I am close to 200 lbs  and have had no issues.

I have 2 of them. I really like being able to swivel with using only  my feet. Each of the three legs is adjustable so stability is pretty good and makes sitting on uneven ground easy to do.
The best things in life....aren't things!

Overspined

I used mine several times, I really like it. No noise, easy and light.  I don't recall weight limit.

That seat looks pretty good. I just ordered one from Rogers Outdoors for $39.99. I hope it is as good as the video on their site makes it look.

Thanks for posting this.

Excellent chair and no complaints at all with the chair.
The carry bag is my only complaint. It's the same loud material that those cheap lawn chairs come in. But I think it'll be pretty easy to have a new bag made.

Interesting looking chair. Anyone have any experience as to how it compares to the Huntmore 360?

Thanks for the link, Yellow Dog. I'm reading it now.

I've had both. The Huntmore is bigger, more comfortable due to the larger size and a bit of padding. However, I found the weight of it did not serve my intended use which was to carry it some distance. The Shappell is not only lighter and pretty comfortable (trade off for size), it is a whole lot cheaper at $40 vs $200.

I have and use both of these and concur with the above assessment. If I'm setting up on a food plot I can drive up to its a tent blind and Huntmore.  If it's a natural ground blind back in a ways or one time I use a string to sling the shappell across my back (I tossed the carry bag that came with it. Way to noisy)

Hey Tom ... I tried mine out this late season up in NE WA and it worked great, the swivel was very quiet and smooth. For a guy your size it should work well, it would not be for a really big guy. If you get one be sure to read the directions on locking the seat and legs, after that all went well.

Best to ya, Ken

Thanks to all.  I've ordered one. Can't beat the Roger's price!
