Seth,

Thats what I was wondering. Really like the look. I want something different than just the plain dark matter.

Hey nineworlds9, My buddy Nightstalker and I were talking about the snake skins earlier today. I really like the way it looks. I was thanking the same thing about the bow length. I figured I would get more out of the limbs with the 58", but I'm fairly new to traditional archery and needed some input.

Thanks
Jeff
The way Jim does skins is incredible.  He fleshes em out and dries em so thin and puts em under multiple coats of finish to protect them from UV, the result is all of the gorgeous pattern under a perfectly smooth surface.

Trust me when I say that Jim's work is a BENCHMARK.  Along with a handful of other top notch bowyers he's the one I use as a standard when trying new bows.  Had trying so many high end bows in the last two years not been so much danged fun I literally would have saved myself thousands of $ if I had just ordered a 2pc fully loaded Dark Matter from day one.

As for length, if you haven't been shooting very long you might want to go a little longer so say 60" for a little extra forgiveness and lower string angle.  But I think 58 would work great if you're shooting well and want extra oomph out of the bow.  Discuss it with Jim.

I have a 58" Triple carbon elite.  54 lbs at 28"s.  I draw 27"s.  It is super smooth for me at my draw and lightning fast.

I've been shooting a 58" Tall Tines for the last couple of years. I really like the bow, and haven't hand any problems shooting it.

Thanks.

I should shoot one of these some time.......Not a big hybrid fan but they are kind of neat.

Double Carbon, 58" 50@28. No finger grooves and no thumbrest. Been shooting this one for a couple years and have no desire to change. I love this bow.
