What is the benefit of static limbs over regular recurve limbs? I am considering a bow with static limb but have not been able to gather too much info on them. How do static limbs draw compared to regular limbs? Are they smoother, stiffer? Are the significantly quieter? What exactly are the benefits ?????

Static recurves have smoother draw and release because the string angle in relation to the tip is lower which creates smoother draw and less stack. Here are pics of my two static recurves I made.

I know what ya mean - but nevertheless I would want to change the title etc. to static tips.
The benefit of a "static limb" would be though, that it's supposed to make a nice broom handle - without all the unnerving flexing and such     :D
