I can't stand even the littlest bit of itch from wool next to my skin. I use First Lite exclusively. It's good stuff. Kept me warm in Colorado last week in minus 16 degree temps.

Ed, here's an image side by side with a white shirt and the closest thing I had to grey.



I don't know my colors for anything.    :D   My wife says it's taupe. It's like a light tan with a tint of black.

It definitely doesn't "blow out"/reflect like the white as portrayed in the image.

Thanks guys, a lot of good info. I really want the first lite but cost at this time is out because i need the complete system for this winter so i went with Kuiu because of the sale they have right now and then i will start putting back my pinnies to replace it with first lite as needed. Thanks again or the info

I have sitka, kuiu, core4, and first lite, you cannot go wrong with any of it, if you're looking for warmth with without bulk. Check out the sitka fanatic line... Pricey but cheap stuff ain't  good and good stuff aint cheap
