Brent Rudolph made this Obsidian for me and the little longbow for my boy Jake(his birthday was in April and Brent out of the blue PMd me saying he was making it for him back in April). I'll get better pics up when I get a chance to shoot it. Jake is a bit under the weather this week so it may take a few days.

Thanks Brent!

The Obsidian is a gift to myself. I did some bartering with Brent for it. Jake's bow was 100% Brent's idea and all on him. He's one of the good ones.

Nice looking bows, especially the limb design of the black one. Looks fast! What are the specs?
Happy Birthday,

Awesome Dave!Good for you and the little guy. I should be getting my present to myself soon too. Man oh man  I like the looks of your sons bow I wonder if Brent would make a bigger version of it.

Brent Rudolph

You are welcome V'ster. Happy B'day to you and belated to Jake. Thanks for all you do for the trad community bro. I hope the bows bring you guys lots of luck.

By the way bentpole, I do make a big boy version of Jake's little bow. Jake's little bow, The Sparrowhawk, is 40". The Redtail Hawk is the big bro at 58"

Bjorn, they are pretty speedy. A 47" string bow that is 80%+ in the efficiency arena. Loves heavy hunting arrows. Smooth out to 30".

Thanks guys.

The Obsidian is 54@28 48" AMO

The Sparrow Hawk needs a 40" string which I now need to find I'll let you know the draw weight after that. lol

The longbow has a real sweet little grip. Jake has had it with him all day, has helped his cold not feel so bad.

Actually I was home all day Kenny except for the last 45 minutes of daylight which made for a good birthday in the woods. Jake is a bit sick so no shooting it yet.
