Chuck, that's a good segment about the blinds on the Discovering show. The boys need to get that on their web site.
We live in the present, we dream of the future, but we learn eternal truths from the past
When you were born, you cried and the world rejoiced. Live your life so that when you die, the world cries and you rejoice.
Life is like a wet sponge, you gotta squeeze it until you get every drop it has to offer

I sat for  good part of the day yesterday, and was very comfortable. 22 degrees when I got in the blind with a 10-15mph wind.  I love it.

Some pics of my blind set up in the field. This spot is where the deer like to cross into the fields when they come out of the swamp. This is a winter wheat field. I may try it IN the swamp later this season when the snow comes. I have begun my learning curve with blind hunting and I think I picked the best one for the journey.
Thanks to Ron and Gus for a great Blind.

Chuck - glad you are enjoying your blind. A little different set up than we had,you didn't have to shovel over a foot of snow to set yours up!!It was so hard and tiring getting through the snow to our blinds this year that I had to do a LaClair set up-- thats setting up your blind and chair so that its easy to nap in.  :)

Ron called this morning about his openning morning buck. Said it came right into the scrape he made with the James Valley scent we sold him. --- But I think the "grunt-snoring" must have helped too!!

Interesting. I got away from ground blinds a few years ago. I often times carry about a half of a wool army blanket. It comes in handy for a lot, but it perfectly fit the floor area of my Double Bull blind.  Now y'all have me looking into one of these Hidden Hunters.   :)

We got fresh snow and 16 degrees and windy Todd. A blind is pretty handy on a day like this.
I have to spendt the day in my shop blind tho   :(
