For 3D target competition I'm around 9.2 ish.
For hunting I somehow prefer + 11.5 gpp!
The foc is something I look into tough! +23foc.
Out to 20 yards I do not see any difference in the drop on the above mentioned set ups!

3D 46@31 and fatboy 400 105gn upfront weight 425 gn.
Hunt 54@31 GT velocity 300, 320gn up front weight 622 gn.
Both gives same point on at 20 yards!
With a healthy dose of madness and bad memory, life`s a wonderful journey

I try to stay around 11 gpi.  It works for me.

Most of us will shoot between 9 and 12 gpp, it depends on personal preference.  I usually end up between 11 and 12.  This year I'm shooting 580 gr from 50 lb at 26" in a 62" Toelke HS longbow.  For me, this is just about the perfect compromise.  I even had the chance to test it last weekend and it works pretty good.

I usually end up between the 9 and 10.

10 gpp for my Hill style bows. They shoot plenty flat at that weight.
