Tried a squeeze play on the big 9 but in the thick junk, we only saw does. He is still in there somewhere.

Gonna hunt a stand across creek from a big bedding area tonite. May rattle a bit when the wind lays off toward dark.

I have some pics when I get a chance to upload em....
Stay sharp, Kenny.

Had a chance to load some pics, no dead deer yet tho....

Got the squirrel pic slam..

A few deer pics...

The last pic is one I took Friday evening, one of 2 good bucks I saw, couldn't rattle or grunt either....

The first buck pic is one I snapped before I grunted hum in, he got around in the brush behind me at 6 yards. I was turned looking at him over the remainds of an old cornpicker when I heard weeds being trampled in front of my brush blind..........

The weed trampling was a bigger eight that evidently heard my grunts and was coming to check it out.

I would have shot this one, so I turned slowly back towards him,and my stool squeaked a very slight squeak. He was at about 25 yards with a thin screen of brush and weeds between us. guess he didn't hear the squeak.

The deer in the pic above did hear it and took off and the bigger one looped back out around me and chased him out of sight.

Went to pick up my judo arrow which I forgot last nite and from the truck saw a BIG 9 point in an open beanfield by himself!

The hunt continues!!   :bigsmyl:    :bigsmyl:

Not yet! But maybe Wed or Thurs.

Bro and I went deep today and hung 2 stands between some bedding areas, both suitable(I hope) for the NW winds those 2 days.

Now to decide who hunts which one! They are across the creek from each other, but wind shouldn't cause probs for either.

Guess the ol democratic coin toss is in order!   :bigsmyl:

Bet the rut cranks up tho!!

And I bet I get some deer pics from the stand!

This morning was kind of a bust, a fawn, a spike , six coons, and the usual squirrels....
