My BW PLX T/D is rock solid. But be careful if applying string wax prior to putting it together as was recommended. I applied too much wax and had a very difficult time pulling it apart for a trip. It took two of us with a lot of effort. Other than that it is a great system.

From what I have ferreted out from research and questions on this site the above design is the least favorite and is no longer being used by any bowyer.  Unfortunately I shoot this bow absolutely skookum and it is going nowhere.

There is a guy in Alaska that learned the take-down conversion system (lockit socket)from Jack Harrison.

I think he charges $250.  I almost got him to do it, but in the end I chickened out on cutting my beloved Super D.

You can contact him at stringworksalaska@gmail.com.  His name is Chris Kilgore

Oh, it will shift the "center of the bow a little forward when doing the conversion if I remember right
