I have a bunch of old nocks I really like. I always thought they were nirk nocks,  but just found out they are bohning legends. They have a pretty square back end and seem to nock themselves perfectly every time whether you're looking, in a hurry, cant feel anything or what.

Any fans of these? If not what is your favorite quick nocking nock?

Nope, Legend or Legend II. They are more square in the back.

You can see here how square they are when not aligned:

I like nocks like nirks, and mercury where they are blocky and square towards the back especially 90* to the string axis. So when I blind nock it either grabs that wide opening and self aligns right on the string or it hits the squareish other profile and holds on the string while I rotate the shaft until it goes. I find most stuff has a taper to the back on both axis's and when I blind nock and it is much more likely to miss hitting the string perfectly and deflect to one side or the other and not engage the nock. Most glue on nocks are fine to me though, but the carbons especially I have a hard time with.

Snowplow, I've been using the Legends for years, really like the nock, fits just right.

Yep, by far my favorite nock. Real hard to come by now, wish I would have stocked up a bit more..

I love Bohning Classics. I read about the Legends some time ago and bought a couple thousand, just in case I liked them. They were pretty hard to find.
Funny thing is, I haven't tried them yet.  LOL
But I plan to.
I had a really good group going... until I shot the second arrow.

My best bows are the ones someone else didn't want.

Couple thousand!? You better start soon....   ;)

I just played with them last night next to other glue on bohning nocks, marcos, easton, CX and a few other carbon nocks, Arrow dynamics, and Old Mercury speed nocks (pretty much what I have laying around) and back to back every time they just seem to nock themselves before I even get the urge to look down. Nirk Nocks are my next choice. I actually thought these legends were nirks until just a few days ago.

I really want to like the mercury speed nocks, but the ends seem too sharp that they dont rotate on the string as easy when nocking out of alignment.
