I would like to put some copperhead skins on my longbow and I was wandering if there was someone who can put them on like a bowyer or somebody, lol. I would try to do it myself but I would probably end up screwing them up.

If it is the wild horse creek bow check with Mike.

If you have the skins putting them on isn't too hard. Titebond 3 works well.

If it's one of your expensive bows then a bowyer could put a good finish over the whole bow rather than a spray can.

I did mine, not that hard if you're somewhat handy.  Otherwise there's a guy here, Semohunter, That was advertising his services in the sponsor classifieds.  Good luck...

Good advice.  You also might give Jim Neaves at Centaur Archery a call, along with his bows, his snake skin jobs are outta sight.  Look painted on when he's done.

Looks like he hasn't been around since June, but I found one of his posts showing his work.  Thought it might help you...

I put skins on and have a whole mess (a mess is a "bunch" here in the south) of copperhead skins.

I won't say that I know what i'm doing, but everyone seems to love my snake skinnin's .

Anybody can glue them on, it is the finish you put over them that makes the difference between good looking for a year or good looking for awhile!

Mountain',
Since Big Jim has the copperhead skins I would jump on that.  The man is far too modest about his talents    :bigsmyl:
