I just bought a little compressor, and would like to buy a sprayer.  Any of you folks have suggestions on what I need?  Do I need a regulator?  Any good online sources for what I need?  Thanks, Marty

A detail sprayer that can be purchased at an automotive store works great.  They are not as large as a regular sprayer and alot les expensive.

The purple gravity feed touch up gun from Harbor Frieght has worked fine for me. Lees than $55. If you use the epoxy you need to clean good after use.

I use a Pasche Air Brush from  http://www.dickblick.com/zz250/05/

Works very well, and gives youall the volume you need.  A little more than the Harbor Freight deal noted above, but not a lot more.

does using an airbrush reduce overspray and fumes A LOT , compared to a detail gun ??

I'm wondering if I could get away with spraying bows in my basement.

I spray in my basement, but have an exhaust fan to blow the fumes outside.  You NEED exhaust AND a resperator.

An airbrush does have a smaller spray than a detail gun but keep in mind that Java Man is 100% correct.  A spraying location with good ventilation as well as the appropriate resperator is vital to maintain your health.
