A clean miss is still a good day. Could've been worse. Of course, could've been a lot better. May your arrow be bloody next time.

Better luck next time! Glad you had a good time and got out to enjoy the hunt. Our season doesn't open until the 1st, and I have to work, so I probly won't get out until the 3rd or 4th. Seeing these threads is killing me!
Plant a fruit or nut tree today, and have good hunting tomorrow.

Don't worry about it, everyone of us has missed. You are getting closer, and I think you will get it done this year.

You might have missed but it takes a heck of an archer to hit a piece of wood that small in diameter! Lol

Thanks everyone! This is the same area as the first five I reported on. Been seeing does but, have yet to see a buck. I know they're there because I've seen the tracks.

Nothing to be sorry for........keep at it. I have been trying for a lot longer than 8 years.
In the beginner's mind there are many possibilities. In the expert's there are few...So the most difficult thing is always to keep your beginner's mind...This is also the real secret of the arts: always be a beginner.  Shunryu Suzuki

Gosh darn!  I've been following this story for some years now, and I thank you for letting me be  part of it.

I admire your commitment to do it YOUR way!  It will happen; I have no doubt.

Keep after'em!

Cleaning up the hunting gear and getting ready to head out again in the morning. Should I try and give this area a rest or do ya'll think it will be safe to go back in there so soon?
