Big Jim Thunderchild String question

Does anyone know how many strand FF string comes standard on a Big Jim Thunderchild?

If remeber right he told me 18. Im at work I can count it when I get home.

I counted 18. Then pay did a search and he posted where he uses 18 strand ff. I remeber him telling me at Cloverdale that he uses 18 and that thinks thats not enough. By the way they still about the size or smaller than 12 strand b-50.

There's a lot of high quality types of FF material out there. Strand count varies considerably for the different materials, for the same bow. Eight strands of one material may perform like 16 of another, from the info I've been following. Due to the individual strand diameter of the material.
So, depends what material you're considering. Also varies a little with the same material, depending on what you want from the string.
