2 or 3 usually, last couple years my wife has shot more than me. We try to put at least 4 in the freezer, maybe a hog or 2.

We are a 3 deer family...or 1 elk and 1 deer...plus usually a fall turkey for Thanksgiving. This year I am going moose hunting. I hope we will be a 1 moose and 1 deer family    I killed 9 with my longbow one year between 2 states. We ate every ounce, sharing with my in laws and my mom. I won't do that again as the horshoe has been passed into someone else's arse...but I am going to try and can a whole deer this year for rainy days.
