Well the weather let up for about 3 hours and Kat, Vintage45 and myself got out for about 3 hours of stumping fun.   :readit:  Then the monsoons hit again so we had to cut it short, great time, this should be done more often!!

No stumping here today; at least 8 inches of snow in my yard right now, and more coming down. Supposed to be clearing by tomorrow, though, and I will be back hunting elk by the weekend (I hope).

Stumping here in between monsoons sent my way from New York – but wishing I were on the east face of the Bighorns, where I introduced my new bride to bivouacking on our honeymoon "back in the day" before I got this close to senior citizenship.     :)

Centaur,I just got back from 2 weeks hiking out there.  I hiked the Bighorns and even went up to the medicine wheel.  Saw some good elk while there too.

The knee is an issue but I take it slow and "try" not to do anything stupid.......   :dunno:

Some how stumping seems to center the earth.  When done, life seems full.  I could be retired, but think a year or two in the grind will make me appreciate being off

I can't think of anyone that would want to see three old geezers standing in the woods, soaking wet.   :scared:
We had have some good shots before the rain though.
No one complained about shot placement, yardage, or anything for that matter.
It doesn't get much better than stumping with good friends.
