Congrats Rusty on your new "toy".  Brent's got a real unique Bow with that Sheepeater.  Top shelf performer in all respects too.  

Hey Killie...I heard a rumor Brent's taken up snow-boarding!  Had a gnarly crash Dude!

He fell on the ice at his day job Killie.

His website is being constructed by someone else as for Brent has difficulty turning the computer on. lol

He has low, medium, high and the straight wrapped grip available.

The longbows aren't on the site at all yet, they are a fairly new development.

I fell on the ice at my job last year. I hope he doesn't have a supervisor like mine...she wrote me up.  

Yep I like short bows, Medium and long ones too. LOL
In fact I love any bow that has good maners and shoots well.

Each has it's place , and the Sheepeater definately has a place in my hunting bow rack.
I hunt thick bush and blinds a lot ,so short bows are ideal for this type of shooting. Long length bows are almost impossible to shoot many places I go, but a short bow can be shot with ease anywhere.
Having some of each is always a good thing.

Howdy guys and gals! Just to let you know the doc, not Doc Tyson (paradocs) DMV, let me out of my cage yesterday for "limited" activity. He was very happy with the motion I had back in my elbow. Got a Redtail Hawk finished for Doug Cambell last night, and feel pretty good. So, I will be back at the grinder with more frequent coffee breaks. I appreciate your kind words about the Sheepeater, and concern for my arm. Great group of friends you are.

paradocs, I see a bow in your near future. Hang in there bud.

Slayer1, I PMed you, but for the sake of the thread, I do still make the Sheepeater in a traditional straight handle. My personal hunting bow has one.

Well, thanks folks you make me believe. Unfortunately this time my bad luck pre-empted me and the bowyer of interest got injured before I could even think to speak to him. I feel bad for Brent, if I wasn't looking for a new bow he might not have fell. My apologies and best wishes that he get's well soon. The back-log on these beauties could grow quickly.
Oh, and I guess longer bows aren't always the answer either. I was all over the place with my brother's 64" today. So much for theories...

Pictures of the finished Redtail will be posted when? Or at least e-mail me some Brent.

Brent, what type of leather did you use on Rick Izatt's bow. Do you think that the leather you used would look okay on an obsidian?

Mike that is a reptile pattern calf leather. Actually, I think I have a piece left in black, and yes I think it would look nice in either color.

V'ster, Doug picked up his bow today which is a Christmas gift for a young man that helped him out on his sheep hunt. I asked Doug to get some pics of him giving it to the lad. Maybe he can get a few of the bow itself. I'll see if he can post a few.

Fellas, not only do the look sweet, they shoot awesome. I just find it hard to believe that any bow out there would out perform the Sheepeater. I've added a year's worth of meat to the freezer with mine. As I told Brent, "It would be hard to hang it up to shoot one of my own bows". I've carried mine through Spring Turkey season and Fall season. Two whitetails and five Toms later, I kinda like it! Once you shoot one, you'll have to have one. Ralph

Brent is a GREAT guy to work with, too!  I'm awfully glad to hear he negotiated an early realease from his medical "prison"!!

Those Hawks are sweet, what draw weights are the Sparow Hawks  and at what draw length?

A matched pair of Hawks for young and old would be cool.
