I got a call Tuesday morning from Brent Rudolph of Black Mountain Bows. He called to let me know my bow was ready to be picked up so I made the 2 hour drive to Livingston after work and pick up this cool little bow. It was also nice to meet Brent and his family (super nice people). Thank you Brent, love the bow!

Specs: 48" long nock to nock when braced. 60# @ 28". Tonkin bamboo limbs under clear glass with bacote riser and tip overlays. Tips reinforced with sheep horn.

I have only shot it a few times thanks to the time change it is dark when I go to work and dark when I get home. Last night I set up some lights in the back yard and set up my target and grabed a few compressed cedars, checked the brace and nock point, then proceeded to have a ball shooting this little bow. Wow does this thing spit out an arrow! Seems very fast, super quiet, no finger pinch and I was drilling the bull right away. Looking forward to shooting it this weekend in the light. Well enough of my talking, here are the pictures.

Sweet bow Rusty. Had to check and be sure there wasn't an Obsidian lurking in there. LOL

He's mailing it today so now I should only have to worry about Killdeer. LOL

SAWEEET! Neat looking bow.    The unstrung profile is wild. So do you push pull string it?   :biglaugh:

Rusty, you are welcome, but it is my pleasure. Thank you. It was a pleasure meeting you and your son. I wish you the best and lots of luck with that bow. Good to see you made it home dodging all the deer in the valley on the way. By the way, have you seen an Obsidian anywhere, Vermonster called looking for it, I can't seem to locate it.

Aren't you supposed to be chasing magic disappearing elk Rusty and not tormenting me?    :p

Can it be drawn to 30" with the same or less pinch than a Kodiak Mag?

Any long draws own one of these?

vermonster13

I'll have one early next week and I draw just shy of 30"

Fred, I watched a guy at the Kansas Bowhunter's meeting last year draw it 31.5", true length. He said he felt some string grip about 31, but said it was smooth and pinch free up to that point. I have to take his word for it. I shoot about a 27" draw.
