Last night my buddy and I were shooting in my backyard. He's planning on selling his BW Recurve but wanted to "make sure" that keeping the Hill longbow was the right move.

After an hour or so, we're relaxing on the deck when he says " Jesus Joey look what just stepped out in the field"....at 100 yds we can see antlers still in velvet. I grabbed my little digital, hit full zoom and snapped off a few pics at roughly 75 yds. Not the best shots but at least you can see what he's carrying.

Looks like a shooter.

If I was in that fix, I would keep 'em both. Either one would be a good choice to  go after that boy with.

It would be nice to see deer like that from the deck. You don't have to get up quite so early, and you can hook up the coffee pot right from your hunting location.
