What's a good portable approx 3' target for warm-up shots at deer camp?  Broadhead tolerance a plus but not a necessity...if the  arrows come out the back and heads have to be unscrewed to prevent hernias I'd just soon not deal with it, lol!

I have a HIPS layered Foam target that I have yet to shoot through. Might try that. Good Luck!

stuff it tight with salvaged shrink wrap and grocery bags. It will get torn up but costs next to nothing and can be recycled.

I have many targets at home . When I am hunting out of town , I use judo points and stump shoot or at camp shoot at a ball . I shoot a few shots every day .

Not 3' but I swear by the Rhinehart 18/1. Best target I have ever owned for what you are using it for.

I usually use a burlap bag stuffed with old clothes. But I cannot shoot BHs into them.
I picked up a buck commander target  at Wal - Mart  yesterday for $39.00  it's got 2 sides for BHs  and the other 4 for field points. I tried it out this morning I shot my carbon field point arrows into the field point side and  wensel  woodsmans  into the  BH side . I was impressed . Both heads were very easy to pull out.  It's very light to carrie weather proof  and the price is right.

I carry a couple old Mckenzie inserts in my truck. Our local club usually gives them away at the broadhead shoot. Not 3' but pretty useful in warming up or shooting at camp. I usually shoot them with my squirrel arrow tipped with a SGT.

I second the Rhinehart 18-1 target.

Rinehart makes a round target the size of a volleyball that is meant to be carried and thrown around.  I have had one for a couple years and it works well.  I also fill an old plastic milk jug or liquid laundry soap container with plastic grocery bags and old shrink wrap.  I throw them around and shoot them, and it's amazing how long these last.

Cut out a  small game target, coon, rabbit, cat etc out of cardboard.  Grab one of the thousands of election sign holders left on the sides of roadways after the legal time for them to be removed.  Dig a small bank, stick the wire sign holder in front of the bunker and use two metal shower hooks to hang the target on the wire.  cheap, almost free and take up zero room in the truck.

Place the wire and target in front of the bunker far enough so the arrows pass thru.

We just shoot our beer cans.

I use the 18 side Rhinehart at deer camp and at 3-D shoots for a quick warm-up or just to avoid the crowds. It is a great target and holds up well. No, I do not over shoot it and I do not invite everyone to take part. This is a personal target that solves a particular need. Has worked for me for several years.    

Hurricane makes two differenr size targets that are pretty durable for the money.  Big Green Target is also another to consider.  I like the smaller Hurricane bag myself.

I like the redhead layered foam targets from bass pro. They run around $50. They will take some broadhead shots but you'll lose slivers of foam. Too many and you start passing through. But for field tips, they'll last a long time.
