bought a cordovan shooting tab about 6 months ago,
and recently bought anather

I noticed the the old one is about .150 thousand of a inch thick
the new one about .090

email 3 Rivers and was told the they had a new supplier and all the new one are thiner

any one has the same issue

RAGHORN 3

Yep... I noticed the same thing.. I actually like the thinner one better... Bought two more! This is my 1st "trad" year and one of the many things I have learned so far is " you can never have enough tabs"....   :dunno:    :dunno:

canuck4570

even if my bow is 36 pound my fingers hurt after long session

will call bateman to see if he can make me some that are thicker....

BOWMARKS

You can easily sew a calf hair tab on to the back for the extra protection of the fingers.

I have always loved cordovan shooting tabs, and the last I got were out of Alaska from a private archer.

My go to tab is one I got from Rick ******. No breaking in and not cordovan, one of the best I have owned.
