Anyone shoot them or know about them I looked at and shot one and it was a really nice shooting bow. Considering getting one for my first long bow.

I think thats the ones Roy Hall makes. They are awesome bows and usually sell for great prices in the classifieds.

They are great bows. A number of years ago, I ordered a 3 pc Scout longbow from Roy and it was a beauty. Very well-mannered bow and the fit and finish was perfect. It was not the fastest bow I've owned, but that's not what I look for in a bow.
I don't believe you'd be unhappy. If the dealer will let you shoot them. take a couple for a spin. Enjoy!

Yes I shot an Aztec and it was a very nice shooting bow.

I've owned two one-piece Navajo long bows and they were excellent bows.  The fit and finish were great and the bows were dead in the hand and completely silent.  Not to mention that Roy Hall is a really nice guy who took the time to explain the bow building process to my then, six year old daughter!

I have a 38# Cherokee and love it. I doubt that you would be disappointed by any of his bows. The workmanship is first rate.

I have a TD Apache that is really smooth drawing and the grip is easy to point on target I ahve a 29" draw and got the 64" Apache.

I have had an Apache for a while and really like it. Very smooth, and dead in the hand. The grip is great.  I think you will enjoy it.

I shoot a Navajo Chief. 53#@28" 58" long. It is and has been "the bow" for me for about 10 years. It's starting to get some character for the many hunts, but the bow is just right for me. I can leave it stored for a month and pick it up and be hitting pretty well with it from the first shot. After a couple practice sessions I am as good as I get. Great bow, and maker.

I was a dealer for Roy and sold many of his bows. They are pointable, well made and SMOOTH. I spent time with Roy at Denton Hill back in the late 90's taking "clients" to the shooting range to test out the bows. Great person to deal with....

I got a chance to shoot an Aztec this year and really liked that bow and loved the grip. I would like to shoot it and the Cherokee side by side one day.

Thanks everyone for the replies looks like I will be owning an Aztec. Its 55#@28 so maybe around 57-58 at my draw of 29 its 62" and shoots very smooth no hand shock.
