What points fo you use for birds?  I am concerned about my dog getting stuck by a broadhead that may be lodged in a pheasant-(assuming I hit one).  Has anyone tried thos snaro points?

Dan, I was in the same predicament a few weeks ago here's a    link to that thread  I went with the field points and a scorpio behind that, sorry  to say I didn't connect with any birds   "[dntthnk]"    good luck!

Don't use the snaros, they are heavy and slow moving and most of the time they just "push" birds in flight.  I have trained my Britt. to be steady to wing and shot so I don't have a problem with using sharp heads.  If your dog is not, then you need a partner to put her on a leash after she goes on point. If you get the current issue of TBM you will see the actual head I like to use for pheasant.
