Dang if 'ol CL didn't come through for me again.  Saw a beautiful Great Plains SR Swift Rio Bravo for sale and gave the guy a call.  After some talk and some pics, I'm unloading a handicap (wheel) bow straight up.  Couldn't be happier even though it won't be in my grubby paws until this evening.

Appears to be some gorgeous bacote......less than 200 arrows through it.......60", 57#@28".......absolutely perfect specs.  I'm excited to say the least.  I mean it's been darn near 6 months since I bought my '75 Super Kodiak.  The sickness continues.

What a bow.  Beautiful to the eye and just plain easy to shoot.

And as a side note.......I was sitting at the kitchen table and popped the limbs off to look the whole thing over when I noticed the serial #.....12404......my anniversary.  December 4, 2004.  Crazy how life works.

I was just helping a friend out by getting some information from Brandon Stahl when out of the blue I sent off an email to get my name on the list for a Special Edition...not even sure where that one came from

I set out a while ago to reduce my herd of 40 bows...And I am finally down to 42

And my 53rd birthday...just realized that means I will be 63 this year...and I just ordered a 63 inch bow from Brandon Stahl to go with the 63 inch bow Mike Mecredy made me earlier in my 63rd year...all a big numbers game...and life is both crazy and good at the same time...enjoy your new bow

As much as I love a longbow, I shoot a recurve quite a bit better and much more consistent.  The grip on this bow just melts into my hand.  I just found my new #1.
