Example:  If I have a right helical fletching jig do I have to use right winged feathers or can I use left wing feathers with a right helical jig and vice versa?  Thanks.

Paul_R

In my experience yes, you have to use RW feathers with a RW jig.

Maddog Mountaineer 57# and Prairie Predator 52# Wow!, Samick Sage 35 - 60#,  I'm learning.

**DONOTDELETE**

I tried using left wing feathers in a RW jig before, and it didn't turn out too well.

Yep, match the clamp with the wing. I just spent $31 on a Bitz LW clamp last week. I've used RW most of my bowhunting life. But I'm matching LW feathers and LW single-bevel broadheads so I had to get the LW clamp.

Pretty much been covered above.
