I don't post much these days, but do read often.  I have been in search of a good hunting seat for hunting off of the ground.  I have already tried much of what is out there.  I also must add I have dad some lower back issues, so long sits are particularly tiring to the old back.

After reading several very positive comments out here on the Waldrop Pac Seat, I was able to find out how to reach Dave and order one for myself.  They came in yesterday.  I can tell immediately that these seats are very well thought out, light weight, designed for easy carry, and very comfortable.  I am sooooo looking forward to getting into the woods with mine soon.

Besides that, Dave is our kind of guy; kind, humble, and wants you to be happy.  So if you are looking for the ideal ground hunting chair, you should give his a careful look.

Dave is at 706.577.6495 if you want to talk to him  .  The reason I list that is because I had a little trouble finding out how to reach him.

Most religions teach that you earn salvation by keeping rules. Jesus didn't teach that "good people" go to heaven. He taught that "forgiven people" go to heaven. And He invited everyone, no matter what their past, to come to Him and be forgiven.

Welome to the "we sit comfortably club."  The Waldrop seat is the best out there. You can buy cheaper, you can buy more complex, but if you want a comfortable seat that allows you to sit still and give you the option of a pack also......look no further.

Go try all the rest and then do yourself a favor and try the best.

What Monkeyball said X2........
In the beginner's mind there are many possibilities. In the expert's there are few...So the most difficult thing is always to keep your beginner's mind...This is also the real secret of the arts: always be a beginner.  Shunryu Suzuki

Archery isn't something I do, it's who I am!
The road to "Sherwood" makes for an awesome journey.

Ditto what all have said so far.  With my leafy coat, I shot three deer and a coyote last season, with several other deer close encounters.  The seat is light, comfy, and very stable.  Next to my bow and arrows, this seat is my most important hunting tool.

I hate to agree with monkeyball, but in this case he is in the 10 ring!

The only bad thing I found with my Waldrop seat was sliding to look out different windows in a blind, I'd develop a blister or rug burn on my rear end.  Solved that with a gel seat pad.  Now perfect.

I really like the cabelas seat, it is by far one of the most comfortable seat to me, turns quietly, a little weighty but easy to set up and take down.

I have tried several but the Waldrop Pacseat is the best.

I own three of the Waldrop Pacseats because they are the best option I have found.  Light weight, very sturdy, stable, adjustable - about all you could ask for.

Just because you are passionate about something, doesn't mean you don't suck at it.

Anybody have a picture of themselves sitting in one? Maybe a picture shooting from it also. Thanks

I have no pictures of me sitting or shooting from mine, but do have some with my bow lying across it. It will still give you an idea of the seat height and angle.

I'm like Joebuck, I use mine alot at my son's travel baseball games but it works fine in my waterhole blind for pigs.
