Any Trad shooters out there that can recommend a good pop up blind? I like the HUB style and would like it to be tall enough to shoot a long bow and fit 2 people. Thanks

Hidden hunter, little tight for 2 though but I have done it.

Barronnet big mike or 350 work good with longbows and 2 people. When I mentor youth turkey hunts I have 3 people and still plenty of room.

The Hidden Hunter blind is just what you described. Check out the video and see how quick it sets up and takes down.
I've hunted out of the 6X6 blind with a 66" Hill style bow with no problem.

Love my recurve model Double Bull Matrix!

The Hidden Hunter gets my vote! Plenty of limb clearance and the only blind around that has windows low enough to shoot something really close.

I've shot turkeys and deer at 5yds, one turkey at 3yds and more animals then I can remember out of my Barronetts all with the netting up. Never seen a Hidden hunter blind and I'm sure there nice so are the Double bulls I've used them.

I have tried the cheaper blinds before and most do the job for a short time but have noisey material and fade terrible if left out in the sun.

We have been using the Barronetts now for 5 years, I still have my original and it's not faded, no broken zippers, no broken rods or hubs that goes for the other four that we have too. We are not easy on our blinds and they all have been through snow and ice storms in the winter and wind storms in the spring. The blinds go up in September and come down at the end of January. Then back up for couple months of turkey season, for a blind that cost a third of the other two I mentioned the have paid for them selves many times over.

The windows are huge! I have no idea how guys are having trouble shooting animals out of them. These decoys and live hen are at 10yds and you can see how much closer they can be and still shoot.

The Barronett 350 is 86x86 hub to hub wide and tall that is huge, I have shot all of my Hill bows including a 72" bow out of mine and on the plus side the double as a extra tent if you need one too!        :D

You really haven't hunted the old fashion way until you've done it from one of these Indian houses.(The Tipi) "Glenn ST. Charles"

I see you're from Minnesota.  If you're planning on leaving it up during the snow months/late season, then I'd recommend the Hidden Hunter, which is designed with snow in mind. I've had damage to two hub style blinds (one Double Bull and one copy cat). First one took on overnight snow of 10 inches, collapse in on itself and broke a hub and two rods.  The second time I thought I was a little smarter and tied the eyelet on top of the blind off to a pole above the blind to keep the blind from 'popping down' with the weight of any snow.  The 1.5 inch pole bent enough to allow the roof to sink enough to catch even more snow and then, snap, broken blind poles again.

Many years ago I use to climb trees and stand on limbs without a stand. Then I went to tree stands starting out with a Baker stand    :scared:  Now I love my Hidden Hunter blinds, when it gets cold a Buddy heater keeps me warm and comfortable.

I used a Barronett "Big Mike" blind this past spring for turkey and it worked great. I think its a good blind for the money. There are a lot of good blinds out there, depends on what you can afford to spend.

I used to make blinds with camo netting and then brush them in. Never failed, someone would steal them. Then one late season and three doe tags, I set up my black ice fishing shack on the edge of a frozen stream. Three days later it was still there and the deer did not care about it being there at all, but it did have the room to shoot a longbow out of. Last year a kid had one of those smaller dome jobs on public land. I tried a practice shot out of it and it was too small to shoot a 62" bow and creaked in the breeze. He moved it all over where everyone had to walk by it and no one stole it. Now I am tempting myself to get a blind as well. Can I shoot a 66" longbow while sitting on a Huntmor chair from a Hidden Hunter?

I can shoot my 66" bow off a Huntmore chair in my HH blind.

The Ameristep Man Cave would fit the bill as well.

I am 6'5" tall, I was practicing with a 68" longbow in the Hidden Hunter. A little tight but I could make it work. Anything shorter would be no problem.
The way that blind is designed, offering great shooting ports, and the EASE of set up, make it the number one choice for me. MADE IN MICHIGAN is icing on the cake.

Check out Lucky's hunting blinds- I have two and they are the strongest blinds out there.  600 denier fabric really nice and simple to use.
