Alexander Traditional, You can't beat the Bob Dozier knives. I have fourteen Doziers in my collection. For deer hunting I take my Yukon Pro Skinner or Whitetail skinner and the small squirrel hunter....Dave

I made this one ugly enough that no one would want it.  The orange is bad but should save me from looking for my knife when I set it down this fall and unlike my good ones - no one will take it home.

Like most hunters, I have more knives than I need including a couple custom knives that are very nice but when I get my deer the only one I have on me is my leatherman.  Oh well, it does pretty well.  Enjoying the pictures of the knives.

I have been carrying my dad's little old Western that I am very thankful to have.  I lost may camera on a trip to Michigan so I can't post a pic.

Yeah Dave I have a few more than these two myself, but these are the two I use the most. I just got a slim outdoorsman off his featured inventory. I got home today to see the slip of paper saying I missed the fed ex guy.

I used the Buck knife for a long time, last year I picked up the Silver Stag (virgin still) so this year I grabbed a Helle, it is a full tang ( they call it semi full or something) all rivets including lanyard hole go threw the steel. Helle Temagami Bushcraft is what it is called.

I have way to many knives to even begin to talk about. I do always carry in my pack a old Camillus trout and bird Finn that was my fathers and a Buck that was my uncles, Uncle Herb got me interested in Bow hunting in 1964.......

Best knife I've used and I've owned a bunch. "Light my Fire Fireknife". Mora's outstanding stainless blade with a fire starter which stores neatly and securely in the handle. All for about a $20 bill.

I am not much of a photographer but here are my go to knives. The Smith and Wesson drop point was purchased at the Camp Pendleton PX in 1977. I think its just about perfect for a hunting knife The AG Russel Cowboy folder was purchased at the blade show 2 years ago. It's in my pocket every day. I also have an AG Russel woods walker that I take to restaurants and a case copperlock i Keep in my pajama pants pocket. I have lots of knives but these are my favorites

That's OK - you can work your way up gradually.  ;-)

Another I carry occasionally.  Takes a great edge.

I have used this case trapper on all kinds of animals.  I have never been much for fixed blades until I found this one  by Ray Kirk.  It's a keeper for sure.  These two are always with me.

Looks like someone forgot to clean his knife after the last deer.

Picked up Ron's Skinner last summer and used to process several deer.  I love the knife's look and functionality.

A lot of cool knives on this thread. The two I carry. Both made by Doug Campbell.

This one will be on my belt this year.

And this will be in my day pack.
