Anybody else had trouble determining whether your gt traditional shaft was damaged to the carbon or just the paint? Had some arrow on arrow contact and scraped some paint many times, but on this one I can see the carbon but nothing happens when I flex it. Scrape is in the middle of the shaft. Safe? super glue? Leaning towards no, as its not worth the risk. But very well could be fine. Curious if others have had this happen.

The Whittler

I would check it with a magnifying glass while I twist and bend in the damaged area to see if it separates. But some super glue wouldn't hurt just to be on the safe side.

But if your not comfortable then break and throw away.

The shafts say "Flex It First" on them.  I bend them significantly if I think they may have been damaged.  Rarely one will splinter but most of the time they are fine.  The shafts say to go to their website for more information on the "Flex It First".
