Hi all, it's been a while since I've been on the board... moved from PA to CO last year and it's taken me this long to get my life back in order... new house, new job... but I've just got back into shooting.  I'm going to check out the Academy Archery Club (located near the Air Force Academy in CO Springs) tomorrow and I'm really excited about it.  From what I can see, there are six courses to choose from.

My question is... can anyone help me with what I should input into Stu's Calculator as far as the strike plate position for a Hill Half Breed (standard grip) and a Shrew Classic Hunter?

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated!

Most Hills are cut 1/8-inch proud of center.  Don't know about the Shrews.

I remember reading here that CH's prior to 2011 were 1/8" shy of center, and '11 on were cut to center. Just read it yesterday, it was a thread about spine weight (wood arrows) for Shrews.

Thanks, Jerry & Joe,

I was just able to reach Greg who built my Shrew CH back in May '11 and he confirmed that it's actually cut to center.  He keeps a lot of data on every bow he builds!

Good shootin'!
