Here is the story:

My ole hunting buddy Nook and Tenbeers headed out the farm we hunt regularly. We dropped TB off at a stand site and headed to a place we scouted earlier in the year.I went to a spot i had found which we named HeartTree Flat.
I headed to my stand site, that Oh what a feeling carma hit me.A nice split white oak with small 20 ft white pines growing beside it,You get the picture.Acorns on the ground and good cover, all we need is deer. That didn't take long either.
I was settled down in the tree with my Lone Wolf by 3:30.Fifthteen minutes or so went by and to my right a nice 6pt appeared but was heading away from me.I got on the ole grunt called but to no avail.I quess it had been 30 minutes and running right to me was a 4 pt.He stopped 10 yds out facing me.He all of a sudden looked to his right and out of nowhere appeared this 8 pt.
By this time i was in shock, watching the 4 pt watch the 8 pt.Not knowing which one would actually give me a shot. Then the 4 pt ran under my tree and the 8 pt took off.I thought it was over for seeing him.So I tried to get ashot on the 4 but he was right under me.Ever feel like you can't ever get your bow in right position for a shot?I was all over the place.I looked behind the tree and the 8 pt was standing there only 8 yds out quartering away so I tookthe shot, and missed, right under him,I think it all happed so fast.
I fumbled of an arrow while the 4 pt kept on feeding under me.The 8 pt only ran out to 13 yds from my tree and a little behind the tree I was in.I took a second shot and watched the arrow sink up to the feathers tight behind the shoulder. He bolted and as his was about to crest the ridge I saw the hind legs spread apart a he started leaning one sided and out of sight he went.I looked good.felt good but the luck i have had with shooting them high still haunted me.I called the wife,i callled BearPaw and stayed in the stand for 45 minutes.
Once i remebered where he was standing, which at first I couldn't for the life of me remember where he was standing,I walked past the blood trail and went to where I seen him dissappear. What a feelin to see your deer laying there, knowing that all the hard work, dissappointments and all others things we endure be rewarded in the end.As always my thanks to God and a prayer well deserved.I had finally got a decent buck to end my regular bow season. Thanks again Nook for helping me drag another nice one out of the woods.............Danny

I didn't mention in the story, that when I went back to where I hit him. There was an enormous blood trail, the arrow came out in frt of the shoulders and the trail was amazing to see.I thought I would add that in.Thanks guys for the replies,it is great to share this fellow brothers and sisters of the sport.......D

Well Ol' two Hats saved it up for the final day of Bow Season.  Danny had no troubles dragging this deer as his feet never hit the ground.  I was pleased just to be there for the ride.  Way to go Bro

Here's a couple of my pictures:

Think he was proud.  Burning up that memory card.....

There's a couple more Big'uns in those woods,  Go get them.  Plenty of Season left and it looks like you got your Mojo back.....

Way to go Danny, nice buck. Still waiting for my first-tough going on my side of the Ridge this year. Good luck to you guys for the rest of the season.
The essence of the hunt for me is to enter nature and observe+ return safely occasionally with the gift of a life taken.
