James does it again. My 66" Argos 52#@28" arrived this morning and it's a beauty plus it shoots better than it looks if that's possible. It's a duo-flex bow but James and I decided to keep the appearance looking ASL. The riser is African Wenge out-lined with blonde bamboo and African Wenge again. The riser measures 1" wide 2" deep with a straight grip. Limbs are 5 laminations of amber bamboo with black glass on the back and white on the belly with 2 wedges in each tip and a heavy back to belly trap. I'm sure that wasn't easy being a duo-flex bow. I did bare-shaft testing this morning, all arrows were 29" with 125 grain points, 2016, 2018, 2114, 2115, 3555 GT, shot  weak. The only arrows that went down range and impacted straight were 2117 and 2215. I broke two 29" 65-70 fir shafts from them shooting to weak and impacting the target at to great of a angle. It likes stiff arrows. Thanks James, it's awesome!
I forgot, it's smoooooth too. Here's some pictures.

Just because you are passionate about something, doesn't mean you don't suck at it.

In the beginner's mind there are many possibilities. In the expert's there are few...So the most difficult thing is always to keep your beginner's mind...This is also the real secret of the arts: always be a beginner.  Shunryu Suzuki

I'm with Green-I know the feelings you are experiencing. And yes as beautiful as they are they perform better than they look! I have had numerous comments as to how fast and quit mine is and I don't have any string silencers in place yet.
CONGRATULATIONS!
I was at a 3D shoot not long after I got mine and those that I was shooting with were complaining about the penetration and how hard my arrows were to pull. toward the end of the shoot I skipped off of the top of a target and one of the guys commented "pass-thru he shot plumb thru that deer". That put a big smile on my face even though I had just scored a zero on the target.

Thanks James! We're lovin the Argos.

Another outstanding Berry creation. I have a Viper, the predecessor to the Argos and it is just an amazing bow.

It slings an arrow extremely hard and fast

Just walked in from shooting my Berry. I know the feeling that you get shooting a Berry bow. Good looking, hard hitting, and forgiving. Can't wait for September!

I've been wanting a milder D/R that still braces to a "D". I have another to consider now. Nice looking bow.

Hi  Congratulations on your Argos, it looks beautiful. I too just came in from shooting my Vixen(old school) and know how pleased you must be with your bows performance. George Hill
