Man...I was getting spoiled.  I get up for work each day at 5:15 am.  This late in the year, I could sleep in till 6:15 am and still have time to shower up, eat some breakfast and hump a climber about 3/4 of a mile into the woods before daylight came.

Me and my brother Ron are on vacation all week long hunting whitetails.  So the time changes today and POW......tomorrow morning we gotta git up at dark thirty again to make it into the tree before daylight.

WHY can't politicians quit messin with the time till AFTER THE RUT!!!!!!!

 I usualy only get to hunt until 10-10:30 anymore. So the time change gives me a little more daylight time. I figure I'll sleep after the rut. LOL

So far I haven't seen to much this year though.

Simple explanation......poloticians can't stand not to mess with something that works! LOL!!

This spells the end of Diannes evening hunts. She can't get home in time to change and hit the woods until dark. It's weeknds only from now on.

Don't have to worry about your deer spoiling in the heat this week Steve. Tell Ron I said hey, and best of luck to you two.

Daylight nuisance time

The only daylight I see now is from my office window and on weekends.

I actually have more time in the woods now.

I get up for work at 4 am, so it was tough to get out for an evening hunt when I wouldn't make it home till 7:30 - 8:00. Now that I can be back in the house by 6:30, it's a bit easier to get out after work and still have some family time, as well as have supper and still get to bed at a reasonable hour.

I lost my evening hunts because of this crap.  Go figure I lose the evening hunts when the hunting is getting to its best.  Daylight savings time sucks.

I work from home on Mondays and until last week was able to get out for a little bit of a hunt after work.  Today, by the time I get to the woods etc, I'd have 15-20 minutes or something like that.

I guess for the rest of the season, it's weekends and days off for me and my son.

I hate it too. If you want to start a petition, I'll sign it.
