What's the deal, I picked up a used set at Comptons from a fella from Tribe archery. The fork on the end of the limb is about a 1/4 shorter than all my other ILF limbs, they only go to almost center of limb bolt bushing. It definitely does not look right, I am scared to use them.   Didn't get much from Zipper, just said the Bezel should hold them down, they should be alright, and the guy I bought them from haven't returned my couple calls I made to him. Shouldn't all ILF  be the same dimensions on the limb butts?

There's no "AMO" or real industry standard to ILF gear.  There will be minor variations among different makers.  You can't expect one makers limbs to necessarily 'perfectly' fit another makers riser.  This even goes for big factory Olympic stuff.  I have had this same occurrence that you describe happen with some Border limbs I had as well as some W&W limbs.  It actually had more to do with the tolerances on the riser than the limbs.  As long as the edge of the limb butts are touching center of the bezel in-line with the bolts you should be just fine.  Half the fun of ILF is mix and match.  I bet if you try the same limb on another make of ILF riser you may not even see that variation.  Have fun with it!

Can you post a picture of the limbs on the bow?

I have a Border, Titan, and a warfed Black Bear, they fit the same on all of them, they look the worse on the Border, but only go to maybe the center of limb bolt bushing on all.

I got a call from the fella I bought the lbs from and he had them on a Morrison riser and never notice anything, must be just certain riser, said had them on a Zipper  and I think he might have said a Sky. He did say he never really paid any attention to them, just snapped them in and shot them. I will post a pick after work

Just put the limbs on my Titan riser, goes to center on limb bolt bushing and Bezel, and they are straight, shot them a few times, fast and smooth so I am going with that.

Mooshkat, did you get the Hunter series or the carbon/foam limbs? Zippers were on the list of limbs I was looking to get but didn't hear too much about them so ended up ordering Centaurs instead. Good to hear some more positive feedback on the Zippers though!

mooshkat

I believe they are carbon/foam.
