I am looking for a bow quiver and would like everyone's input as to what is your favorite bow quiver and why.

Ricky, I have a EFA and a Thunderhorn Small fry both are 4 arrow quivers. Both are light weight. The EFA is the lightest of the two and a little smaller in size.

The EFA attaches with a Velcro strap and the small fry uses a rubber strap. Both are very secure when mounted properly.

Your more than welcome to borrow them and see if they are what your looking for.

Tight Spot is my all around favorite assuming I have amo bushings. If its a 3 piece takedown then a GN bolt on is my next choice. If I had to use a strap on then I'd rather just get a different bow.

I almost exclusively shoot a 3pc takedown bow nowadays. My favorite quiver is the Great Northern Quick Detach quiver.  That quiver is very easy on/off and the attachment system is sleek looking. There are a few out there that are fancier, but none that function better, IMO!

I also use a GN strap on quiver for my one piece bows. The GN strap on will not move around on the limbs like some of the other quivers do.

Kanati dual arc

Quality, reliable, HIGHLY adjustable and able to tune to your bow and preferences. I did a small review on it a while back that goes into more detail.

On a recurve I like a selway slide on. Tight down past the fades, solid fit, won't move, adds mass weight, 5 or 6 arrows.

Kanati Dual Arc is what I settled on for my 54" Black Widow KB... Angle & placement on the bow are adjustable, solid, lightweight, easy on/off, the integrated bow or quiver hanger feature is nice, sits very tight to the bow so balance is good, etc... It looks great too, and they will customize the colors to match your bow.

Selway models in any form usually the slide on solid as a rock adds a nice cant to the bow. Been around a long time, proven and Gordy is a great guy to deal with.

I have had every trad style quiver that I know of, and for me I like the Great Northern quick detach far and away better than any thing else. However, a quiver, much like a bow is a personal thing. therefore you may have to try a few to find what you like the best.

Gooserbat

Thunderhorn Lynx with a small fry hood and 4 arrow gripper.  Straps on and off in just a few seconds and no need for bushings.

I have two, the Thunderhorn lynx and great northern. Both are lightweight and quiet.

Biathlonman

Thunderhorn small fry lynx is the best I've tried and I think I've tried them all now.

Brock

for a bow quiver not found one that offers functionality and versatility of the Great Northern bow quivers.  On my takedown recurves I used their QUICK DETACH as I could easily remove when in blind but was rock solid.

for my longbows and selfbows I prefer the GN strap on adjustable (for different riser lengths) and have the long HOOD included so it covers my 190 and 200 gr heads completely.

They are light, quiet, well made and been around forever...and when in ground blind or even in tree stand I can unstrap or remove and hang from hook or lay on ground by me off the bow.  I typically use a side quiver I have had for over 20 years for most of my hunting but when using 3 bladed heads or lots of small game like Judos that dont do well in flat sided Lakota quiver...I use the GN setups without any qualms.

I have two first is my Selway quick detach and my stalker side quiver. I like the bow mounted quiver for hunting big game and my stalker side quiver my small game arrows. I carry both when I hunt.

I like Selways.  Particularly like the placement of the arrow gripper on most models, which cant the arrows toward the shooter a little more in line with the lower limb when strung, rather than having the feathered ends of the arrows protrude beyond the lower limb.  Also, most grippers place the arrows pretty much in line, rather than in a semi-circle or stacked, which means they carry closer to the bow limb, another feature I like.   :archer2:

babs

Great northern quick detach. My bob lee bows were made for a great northern and they are simple to put on or take off but I never take them off.

I put a quick detach Great Northern on my new bow, and love it.  Looked at many and the quality and simplicity of this is great.  I recommend them.

Yes.

What Bisch said X2.

Just bought 3 GN strap ons for me and the kids.

Awesome product, esp now with new kick back feature so arrows are not out in front of the bow so much. Very solid and well made product.

Rubber straps are UV resistant.

Been around for decades. A lot of thought has gone into this product.

Super nice people to deal with.

For my 3 piece recurves, I use the Thunderhorn Two Point bolt on.

Beautiful and also well built.

TRAP

Great Northern Extreme Kickback strap-on quiver with extended hood.

Because, Ive tried all the rest and even made some of my own and I keep coming back to the GN when it's time to go hunt.
